Fermented tri-peptide collagen of marine origin by Anjolie is the smallest structural unit of collagen, offering strong penetration and high absorption into the skin. Thanks to fermentation, it provides greater potential for restoring the functions of the skin, joints, bones, cartilage, and tendons compared to other types of collagen.
Its absorption rate is fast – collagen is directly absorbed and selectively deposited in the skin. Tri-peptide collagen has the potential to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also enhances the penetration of other skincare ingredients into the skin. By binding water, it helps drain excess fluids and reduces swelling in the face and legs.
Regenerative and Healing Effects of Tri-peptide Collagen (CTP):
Collagen tri-peptide (CTP) offers multiple biological effects, such as improving dry skin, promoting wound healing, and supporting bone fracture recovery.
A scientific study examined CTP's anti-aging effects on hairless mice exposed to UVB radiation for 14 weeks while receiving oral doses of CTP. Compared to the untreated UVB control group, the CTP-treated mice showed significantly reduced wrinkle formation, skin thickening, and transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Skin hydration and hydroxyproline levels were improved, elasticity increased, and erythema reduced.
These results strongly suggest that CTP has potential as an anti-photoaging agent.
