The First Months in a Children's Group

For preschool children and especially for their parents, many changes occur when children begin integrating into a group of peers. This is a challenging period full of significant changes, during which both the child and parents experience psychological and physical stress, as well as numerous new illnesses.

A child in a group of peers is exposed to various viral and bacterial infections, ranging from the common cold to mononucleosis, often resulting in children spending more time at home than in kindergarten or school. Today, the biggest cause of illness is various COVID mutations.

The body constantly encounters new pathogens, which affects our immune response. However, this response is a natural defense mechanism against foreign particles, in this case, viruses. The immune system has developed mechanisms to fight infections, most commonly in the form of fever, runny nose, and chills, which confine both adults and children to bed. Many people mistakenly believe that these symptoms indicate an illness, when in reality, they are simply the body’s natural defense response.

COVID Is No Longer What It Used to Be and today rarely presents as a purely respiratory illness. Viruses and some bacteria often develop mechanisms to bypass or trick the immune system, turning into so-called super bacteria, which can even resist antibiotics.

Nowadays, we encounter these pathogens in various forms. They may manifest as chronic fatigue, scarlet fever, headaches, intestinal and digestive issues, which are often linked to disruptions in liver metabolism.
